Who are we?
Serbian Translators was founded in the wake of a virtual absence of a serious and organized group of translators or a domestically-based translation company. We aim to provide high quality translation services in accordance with the highest professional standards. The advantage of choosing us lies in the fact that we are based in Serbia and are in touch with the concurrent trends of the Serbian language as spoken in Serbia (unlike virtually all corporations who indiscriminately hire freelancers from the former Yugoslav diaspora). This ensures exact and accurate translations from all fields of expertise, as required and expected by the professional standards. Most companies with the word "translation" in their names are, in fact, selling you the third-party translations at high prices. Serbian Translators feature dedicated in-house translators who are fully responsible for the quality of the translated texts and provide for a seamless cooperation in the case of extended projects.
Why choose us?
- We are not an all-in-one global corporation, but a dedicated group of professional enthusiasts focusing on English to Serbian translation, localization and proofreading services.
- Most companies simply recruit freelancers, whereas our company employs in-house translators, which means that Serbian Translators take full responsibility for the accuracy and quality of the translated texts.
- We are based in Serbia and are in touch with the modern trends of the Serbian language, grammar and orthography.
- Because there are no grammar errors on *our* site =)
Why Serbian?
- Serbia is rapidly becoming the economical and industrial powerhouse of the Balkan peninsula and the Serbian language is set to have an important role for anyone planning a strategic approach to the Balkan market.
- By opting for Serbian, you choose to be understood by the whole region, as Serbian was the primary language spoken in the former Yugoslavia which consisted of six countries: Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia and Macedonia. Besides, Serbian, Bosnian, Croatian, Slovenian and Macedonian languages are still mutually understandable.
- Serbia is only beginning to open up to the world after several decades and English is not as omnipresent as in the Western Europe, for instance. Localized websites, software, and manuals are all well appreciated and much sought after.
